This flu season has us all up in arms.... My kids have caught the flu a few times already, including myself, and flu season isn't even in full swing yet. The flu is so rampant here that the school district has called every single home telling parents that they're losing to much funding because a large population of kids are not attending due to the severity of the flu season. They were demanding that all parents send their kids to school so that the State pays them for attendance, with an empty threat behind their message. So....the parents sent the kids to school sick, and now the problem is worse. So, the school district sent a notice out to parents telling us not to send our kids to school sick, wash our hands, etc. But when we keep our kids home, we get another notice from the school..... What do you do....?
The last two to three weeks have been crazy at home to say the least. With all of the kids being sick, including myself, I have also been diagnosed with two health issues that has me facing the possibility of closing my studio. I have a lot of catching up to do not having the chance to paint my orders recently, and I'm praying that everyone can hold on tight for me while I try my best to make up some lost time.

We are all sick too. I am praying for ytou and a quick recovery and for these health issues to be gone so you can paint! You have a wonderful talent and I know this isnt the end of it!

Oh what a terrible situation with your school! We have not been affected by the flu yet. I have no idea why. My sons spent an entire weekend with a cousin who had the flu. Sorry to hear that you also are having health problems of your own. I hope you get better and that your kids get healthy and stay that way!
It's crazy that the schools demanded that you send your kids to school sick!!
